1:1 Finances & Careers
At the 1:1 Careers and Finances opportunity, our ladies get the chance to take their next step forward in their careers and/or finances.
During this opportunity, our ladies will meet with either a financial mentor to review their budget and ask basic financial questions and/or a practical advisor to get help in resume writing, interview coaching, or career coaching.
Sign up for one of the volunteer options today!

'Copper Gala' Volunteer Teams
Our annual fundraising Gala is a crucial 431 Ministries event. It helps fund 15% of the budget for the next year. That's why you play a pivotal role in helping our small team make it all run smoothly! Whether you want to work outside or during the event, are an introvert or extravert, there’s a spot for you! We also welcome anyone needing TN Promise Hours.
We cannot pull this fundraiser off without you, and we are deeply grateful for your time and talent in support of 431 Ministries. We hope to see you on October 16th!
There are two teams to choose from. The Support Team is for all roles outside the event (mainly set up and tear down). The Operations Team is for during the event (food, greeters/registration, silent auction assistance, etc.). Click the links to read role descriptions, pick your shift(s) and sign up!

Can’t volunteer on the 16th, but still want to help? We are looking for a few people to prepare class materials (handouts and booklets) to have on display at the Gala. You can volunteer anytime during our office hours, 8:30-4:30. For more details and to sign up, reach out to Sara at sara@431ministries.org.
Re:Store Emotional Communication and Client Lunch
During the Re:Store Classes, our women learn vital skills around a variety of topics, such as:
What does safety look like?
How do I handle emotions around finances?
How do I communicate effectively?
Following the class, our Side-by-Side Program Clients will stay to enjoy lunch together and connect with one another.
We need the following volunteers to help make this possible.
Childcare: Two shifts will be available to choose from.
Provide Breakfast Snacks: We need volunteers to provide muffins and a fruit tray for the class.
Side-by-Side Lunch Sponsorship: We are looking for people to help support the lunch by sponsoring a meal. You can sponsor one lunch for $10 or sponsor the whole lunch for $100.
