The basis of our mentorship program could be summed up with two scriptures: Ecclesiastes 4:12—“though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken” and Colossians 2:2-3 “My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”

Our vision at 431 Ministries is to provide a place where any woman can find authentic community, compassion, dignity, and full restoration in Christ so that she has no doubt she is known, seen, and loved. As a mentor, you are one of the most important pieces of this. You get to have a front row seat to God working in you and through you to accomplish it!

Expectations:

Mentors are expected to offer 1-2 hours a week, with at least 1 in person meeting

Mentors are expected to be flexible (within reason) with their time, remembering that they are working with a single mom
Mentors are expected to be strong in their faith, able to communicate encouragement rather than direction
Mentors are expected to take part in a 6-hour training before being paired with a client
