Mary found out she was pregnant with the Savior; how magnificent! She rejoiced in the Son she carried in her womb. But what would people think when they heard about her pregnancy? How would they respond that this young, unwed woman was having a baby? We’ve never been told for sure, but it couldn’t have been easy.

Just like Mary, the women of 431 Ministries have lots of surprises and unexpected circumstances in their lives. Some are self-inflicted; some would have never been their choice. But unlike Mary, who was able to turn to Joseph, Elizabeth and Zechariah, our women do not have any relational support. We want to change that. Through our mentors, our host families, and counseling, we wrap around women in difficult circumstances to let them know that they are known, seen, and loved. Won’t you join us?
